My Journey
Where medicine said three years, Universe said sixteen
This is a mission to break free....
The Miracle
16+
Years of quality life — beyond the 3-year terminal prognosis ....
The Story Behind the Mission
I see myself first and foremost as a student of life—a seeker who has been blessed to learn through experiences, both joyful and challenging. My journey began at Modern School, New Delhi, and continued at Lady Shri Ram College, followed by a Bachelor of Education. Many years later, in my sixties, I felt a strong inner pull to return to formal learning and completed a Master’s in Vedic Studies. I have been fascinated by the Vedas since chidhood.
In my younger years, sports and adventure taught me courage, teamwork, and the importance of stepping beyond one’s comfort zone. My professional journey began with teaching in schools such as Pathways World School and Lancers, where working closely with students awakened a deeper calling to serve. What began as teaching a few children of domestic helpers in my home gradually grew into Dishaa Educational Society—an initiative supporting underprivileged children through education, mentorship, and encouragement.
Later, I was blessed to serve as Director of Student Life at Plaksha University, where working with young people strengthened my belief that education must nurture not only knowledge, but also character and emotional strength.
The most profound lessons of my life, however, came through personal adversity. When my husband was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, doctors told us he might live only five years. We believe that we are fortunate to be iving in land of rishis who had given solutions to all problems. We just have to find them ..... I practiced Sahaj Samadhi meditation for 5 years, studied Charak Samhita, Varma, Naturopathy, Sujok , Ayurved etc not as an expert, but as a wife and mother trying to support her family.
Through devotion, perseverance, and divine grace, my husband lived not five years, but seventeen years. Those years, though challenging, became the most meaningful years of our lives. They brought our family closer, deepened our faith, and taught us the true meaning of surrender.
The journey was transformational !!!!
During this time, I turned to the teachings of the Sri Ramcharitmanas, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Srimad Bhagwatam, and realised that it was not just abstract philosophy but lived truth, how spiritual wisdom can transform fear into hope and adversity into growth.
Today, through JVR Journey, I share what life has taught me—offering Spiritual Counselling, Sri Ramcharitmanas sessions, and interactive Vedic workshops to help individuals and families build resilience and faith while navigating life.
Alongside this work, I continue to pursue a long-cherished dream of establishing the ''Raj Rishi School" where modern education and timeless values can grow together.
I do not claim to have all the answers. I am learning every day.
But I believe that when we do our duty sincerely, keep faith in the divine, and accept life with humility, unexpected strength begins to emerge.
That belief continues to guide my journey.
The Story Behind the Mission
An alumna of Modern School, New Delhi, she pursued Economics (Hons.) at Lady Shri Ram College, followed by a B.Ed and then a Masters in Vedic Studies at 62 years. Early in life, she embraced challenge and leadership Elected President of the Youth for Exchange and Understanding ,Hagenau,France 1986, Hiking Club LSR, and competing as a State-Level Basketball Player, and leading high-altitude expeditions. Strength — mental, physical, and spiritual — has always defined her journey.
Her professional path spans teaching institutions such as Pathways and Lancers, co-founding ‘Dishaa Educational Society’ to teach underprivileged children, and serving as Director of Student Life at Plaksha University. For decades, she had opportunity to work with young minds.
But life’s greatest initiation came through personal adversity. When her husband was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and given five years to live, refused to accept limitation. They immersed in holistic healing sciences and spiritual disciplines alongside medical care. Through relentless effort, research, devotion, and grace, his life extended from five to seventeen years. That journey was transformational. The teachings of the Sri Ramcharitmanas and the Srimad Bhagwatam and Bhagavad Gita were not just abstract philosophy — they became lived truth. This path led her to complete a Master’s in Vedic Studies and deepen commitment to Bhakti as a way of life.
The Miracle
16+
Years of life — beyond the 3-year terminal prognosis — sustained by the power of Sri Ramcharitmanas and unwavering Bhakti.
The Scripture That
Changes Lives
Sri Ramcharitmanas is not merely a poem — it is a living transmission. Written by Goswami Tulsidas in the 16th century, it carries within its verses a complete science of consciousness, healing, and liberation. My mission is to make this treasure accessible, relevant, and transformative for every modern seeker.
"Mangal bhavan amangal haari
Dravahu sudasarathi ajir bihari."

Scriptural Healing Wisdom
Drawing connections between the Ramcharitmanas, Ayurveda, and sound therapy — demonstrating how bhakti and scripture have always been a complete health system.
Relief from Worry.
Light in the Dark.
When the phone call comes with a diagnosis, a prognosis, a verdict — when the medical system hands you fear wrapped in statistics — where do you turn? I have been in that room. I know what that silence feels like.
Vedic Counselling is not a replacement for medicine. It is the dimension of healing that medicine cannot reach — the soul. Drawing from the Ramcharitmanas, the Bhagavad Gita, mantra science, and lived experience, I offer a space for those who are afraid, grieving, or simply exhausted by worry.
One-to-one sessions for individuals facing serious illness in the family
Mantra prescription tailored to your specific pain or fear
Guided Ramcharitmanas readings for patients and caregivers
Group support circles rooted in Sanatan Dharma wisdom
Long-term spiritual accompaniment through medical journeys
गत-व्यथा
Gata-vyatha — Freedom from All Worry
In Sanskrit, Gata means "gone" and Vyatha means "pain or anguish." This is not a promise of an easy path — it is the assurance that the burden of fear does not have to be carried alone. Through Bhakti, the weight lifts.
A Gentle Promise
"You do not need to have all the faith in the world to begin. You only need to show up. I will sit with you in your fear, and together we will let the scripture speak."

The curriculum integrates Sanatan Dharma values — non-violence, truthfulness, self-discipline, and service — into every subject. Sanskrit is taught not as a dead language, but as the living root of India's wisdom. Yoga and pranayama are daily practice, not electives.

Know Your Heritage
Sanatan Dharma is the world's oldest living spiritual tradition. Yet many of its most profound concepts remain unknown even to those born within it. These are not trivial facts — they are keys to a living inheritance.
हरि
Hari — The Divine Name
Hari is not merely a name for God — it is a verb. Derived from the Sanskrit root hṛ, it means "the one who removes." Hari is the cosmic remover of sin, pain, ignorance, and the cycle of rebirth. To chant "Hari" is to invoke active liberation.
अकर्म
Akarma — Action Beyond Action
The Bhagavad Gita speaks of three categories of action: karma (binding action), vikarma (wrong action), and Akarma — action performed without ego or attachment to results. Akarma is the highest form of work: total engagement with zero bondage.
ॐ
Om — The Primordial Sound
Om (Aum) is described in the Mandukya Upanishad as the sound of the universe itself — the vibration from which all creation emerges and to which it returns. Modern science has confirmed that the universe has a measurable hum. The rishis heard it 5,000 years ago.
सनातन
Sanatan — Eternal, Without Beginning
Sanatan means "that which has always existed and shall always exist." Sanatan Dharma is therefore not a religion invented by a founder — it is the eternal spiritual law, as constant as gravity, discovered and transmitted by generations of realized sages.
भक्ति
Bhakti — The Path of Devotion
From the root bhaj, meaning "to share in" or "to belong to." Bhakti is not mere sentiment — the Narada Bhakti Sutras describe it as the highest form of love, a state in which the devotee and the Divine are no longer separate. It is a science, not a feeling.
मंत्र
Mantra — The Mind's Instrument
Man (mind) + tra (to liberate or protect). A mantra is a precise sound-formula that, when correctly repeated, restructures neural patterns, calms the nervous system, and creates a bridge between human consciousness and divine frequency. This is now supported by neuroscience.
